Every night we have the same routine. We feed Sophia, change her, and give her a bottle. Then she kisses Jeff (Poppa) good night and I take her upstairs to her room. I turn on her night light and the sound of water ( on a machine) to help drown out the noise, and take her in my arms and rock her to sleep. As I rock her, I sing 'Rock a by Baby' until she falls asleep. Lately, she has been joining in and singing with me. Of course she doesn't talk yet, but she hums and softly mumbles as I sing to her. It is so precious.
