A Bit of a Mess...

I love how self sufficient and independent Sophia is getting. However, it has been a bit of a messy process! Today she said she needed to go poo-poo. So she got her stool, scooted it over to the toilet and sat down. I told her to let me know when she was finished so I could wipe her and help her get her pants back on. I was upstairs putting some clothes away in her bedroom, and as I came down the stairs out came Sophia from the bathroom with her pants pulled up. This is the second time she has attempted to do the whole bathroom routine by herself, and as she turned around I saw her cute little bottom hanging out and her pants still halfway down in the back. As I started to pull them back up, I saw some poop on the top band of her stretch pants. Oh! What a mess! I then took her in the bathroom to wipe her and get her cleaned up, and then I saw a streak of poop on her Dora potty seat. She had slid off the toilet leaving a trail behind, lol. All I could do was laugh. It may be messy but hey, at least she's trying to go potty all by herself now!
